The Director General of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Drug Addiction (ONLCDT), Dr. Tarek KOUR, is pleased to extend his warmest congratulations and sincerest blessings to Professor Younes ZEBICHE on the occasion of his election as a member of the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) for the 2027–2032 term.

This achievement was reached with the support and backing of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Drug Addiction, and under the personal supervision of the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals.

The Director General also expresses his deep gratitude and appreciation to the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly the Permanent Mission of Algeria to the United Nations in New York (USA), for their outstanding diplomatic efforts and diligent endeavors. These actions had a significant impact on achieving this important international gain, which enhances Algeria’s presence in international bodies and reinforces the trust it enjoys in the field of drug control and prevention.

This achievement follows the appointment of an Algerian expert to serve within the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) expert group last December.
