On behalf of the Director General of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Addiction , Dr. Tarek KOUR, Mr. Walid ZERGANE, an official at the Office, participated this Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in a study day organized by the Directorate of Social Action and Solidarity of Algiers Province, held under the theme: “Strengthening Inter-sectoral Collaboration to Curb Drug Abuse.”
In his address, Mr. ZERGANE reviewed the Office’s efforts and the national policy implemented to combat this scourge. He emphasized the importance of intensifying preventive campaigns within educational and youth settings, as well as the necessity of enhancing joint coordination between the various sectors and civil society.
