The Director General of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Drug Addiction (ONLCDT), Dr. Tarek KOUR, received today, Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Office’s headquarters, Ms. Soraya ALEM, the Representative of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) in Algeria.
This meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on joint action mechanisms and to explore avenues for bilateral coordination. Discussions focused particularly on efforts aimed at harm reduction related to drug use and its health consequences, especially regarding the transmission and spread of HIV.
