 On this occasion, the National Office for Combating Drugs and Drug Addiction extends its highest expressions of congratulations and appreciation to the General Directorate of National Security, and to all its officers and agents, in recognition of their strenuous and continuous efforts to protect the safety and security of society, and to safeguard the social fabric from the scourge of drugs and its dangerous repercussions.

The National Office emphasizes the importance of uniting and coordinating the efforts of all relevant sectors, bodies, and actors, each within their respective mandates, for the optimal implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances. This strategy is given the utmost priority by the President of the Republic among the priorities of the Algerian State, reflecting his commitment to preserving the security and safety of the Algerian citizen, and safeguarding the health and social security of the Nation.
