On behalf of the Director General of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Addiction (ONLCDT), Dr. Tarek KOUR, the Head of the General Secretariat of the Office, Mr. Sofiane HANIFI, conducted an inspection visit to the Province of Annaba today, Thursday, May 14, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to assess the readiness and logistical arrangements for hosting the 3rd Drug Prevention Training Camp, which will be organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth.

The visit began with a coordination meeting with the local Director of Youth and Sports, followed by a field inspection of the “Moudjahid Boukerdim Ahmed” youth hostel in the Ain Achir area to evaluate the facility’s preparedness to receive participants. The itinerary also included a visit to the “Al-Razi” addiction treatment center, where a working meeting was held with the Head of the Department to discuss preventive and therapeutic coordination mechanisms. The visit concluded with a meeting with the Secretary General of the Province of Annaba at the Province headquarters to finalize arrangements and ensure the active contribution of all local services to the success of this event.
