The National Office for the Fight Against Drugs Oversees the First Joint Philatelic Issue Since Independence
In close coordination with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, and under the supervision of the National Office for the Fight Against Drugs and Drug Addiction (ONLCDT), the first-day cover stamp was affixed today for an exceptional and unprecedented philatelic issue since independence.
This initiative involves multiple ministerial sectors addressing an issue that affects societal security, citizen health, and the future of generations.
This fruitful collaboration between the Office and the postal sector, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Interior and Local Authorities, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Sports, the Gendarmerie Command, and the General Directorate of Customs, has resulted in the launch of seven postage stamps.
These stamps reflect the dimensions of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, highlighting a comprehensive approach that combines prevention and awareness with firmness in enforcing the law against trafficking and promotion networks.
